We use them every time we type a sentence or phrase our words but how often are we made aware of the importance of punctuation?

'Eats, Shoots & Leaves' by Lynne Truss

Those little commas and semi-colons look pretty fun don't they? But omit an apostrophe or a question mark and you might just have changed the meaning of your sentence.

Lynne Truss's book gives a witty and light-hearted take on the uses of punctuation. True enough, there are other punctuation guidebooks out there, but none so serve to tickle your senses as this one.

It provides a fun introspective view to all things that punctuate and is indeed a must have for any writer.

Highly recommended for those who have a love-hate relationship with punctuation. A rare delight of a book made possible by someone trained in the field of journalism. Hopefully, you'll begin to view those hyphens and colons in a new light.
