'Pattern Recognition; by William Gibson

Pollard embarks upon a task to discover the origins of a mysterious piece of internet footage, and it is along this plot arc that William Gibson throws us wide-eyed into the 21st century.

Traversing modern cities and hooking up with the likes of modern spies, mob bosses, and cunning businessman, Pattern Recognition is want of a breath pause, at once mirroring the pace of the modern world.

With perceptive observations and eye for the cool and now, the story also brings Pollard to closure on her father’s disappearance during the September 11 attacks. Like his previous books, Neuromancer and Count Zero, Pattern Recognition is a winner.
